Well, I don't really just fuck for the sake of fucking so not really. I mean, I have limits and stuff but it's more their personality than their looks or whatever. I don't think I'd want to be in the show but if I was, I'd probably be able to last the days. I'd get voted out pretty soon though. Heights. I can't fucking stand heights. I get scared even walking up a flight of stairs. It's worse if the steps don't have backing. I just picture myself tripping over them or the steps falling apart, crazy shit like that.
My boyfriend (ex, now) actually forced me to go on a Ferris Wheel once. Yep, I fucking hated him for that.
A local radio staton had a contest where the person had to drink a mixture of their choice of hard liquor and a month's worth of foot shavings from a pedegg. The winner got front row tickets to a Pearl Jam concert. Would you do something like that?
For Pearl Jam? Fuck no. I think I'd only do it if the radio station was able to either convince non-touring bands to do a show or bring back the dead and make them do a show for me.

Is there a scent that triggers happy memories? (ex: for me the scent of apples takes me back to my grandmother's kitchen and the many dishes she taught me to cook)
Not really... It's more songs or films and stuff. More visual than scent.
Though my ex's preferred brand of Lynx reminds me of him. It's not exactly a wanted memory but it isn't too terrible.

My day only started an hour ago. I woke up to see my sister came over. I rang my friend who I was fighting with and asked if we could talk/hang out tonight. Why is the Half Life games one of your favorites?
Because it's a good action game, it has zombies and a good story. It really appealed to me the first time I played it. There was a few times I got pretty freaked out/jumpy and I like that in a game.
Plus, Gordon Freeman is both badass and hot.

An old boyfriend used to hit me and worse. So, physical and sexual abuse.

Depends to what extent. Since my dream is to be a paid writer, if an editor tried to edit more than I wanted them too, I'd get pissed off. That being said, if it was my one and only chance at getting published, I think I'd be able to deal with that.

I wear dresses sometimes. I used to only wear a dress when it's over 30 degrees but this month I kinda got sick of wearing shorts and a t-shirt and wanted to look a little nicer. I didn't start wearing make-up but I started wearing a dress with tights.

What makes you angry? Do you get angry very soon? How do you overcome your anger?
Takes a lot to get me anger but that depends who you are. How quickly I get angry depends on what someone has done. But generally, it's not very often. How I overcome it is to pretty much yell and scream a lot until I'm all vented out and ready to apologise. I don't always apologise first but it depends what has happened.

Do you blog? If so, what is it?
I have both a Blogger and a Tumblr. My Blogger was somewhere to collect my writings but it only gets updated with my Formspring questions nowadays. Tumblr gets updated daily with pictures, thoughts, formspring questions and writing. I guess because I have a few friends that use it and because it updates to my Twitter, it motivates me more. Also because I can upload pictures and stuff more easily so I don't have to think of huge long posts of what I ate that day and crap like that.

You're a superhero, what's your power, who is your sidekick, who is your villain, and what does your outfit say about you?
This is actually someone I made: Quote Queen. She doesn't have specific powers but she can fly after spending months jumping off buildings attempting to get her cape working. She works with gadgets mainly but may or may not develop powers. She has no sidekick as of yet, not sure if she will have one. Her villain is Fan Boy, a guy who is obsessed with comic books etc but in all the wrong ways. They met at a con and he tried to hit on her, to which she politely declied (despite his carming way to stare at her chest and comment about her bra size before inviting her to see how it would look on the basement floor of his mum's house), and he developed a one-sided hatred towards her. She always seems to best him, always getting the last of the special edition packs, the nerdy celebrities always seem to like her more despite his helpful habit to point out what the writers/actors/illustrators/etc did wrong. He has sworn to either get revenge or sleep with her. Her outfit looks a lot like Harley Quinn with a few other things tossed in, which I can't remember (which I would to change when/if I make a comic out of it but that's what Champions Online limited me to) and would say that she likes comics.

I think I could just cover this with one thing: Have fun. I'd basically quit my job and bum around. I'd play as much games as I could, watch as many movies/tv shows as possible, read, hang out with friends, meet tons of new people and try to find love. Or if I was already in love when it happened, move in with them and be with them as much as possible. Plus, have sex with them a lot.

Only one thing? In that case, my shyness. It stops me from telling people what I think, telling someone I like them or just talking to someone. It stops me from getting to know people more and I hate that.

Chiropractic, fuck yes. Acupuncture, maybe but I've never tried it so I couldn't tell you for sure. Hypnotherapy I say is probably more of a placebo effect.

Sometimes yes, most of the time, no. I want to be nicer, smarter, more interesting and better looking. I have a pretty low opinion of myself and I suffer from depression.

His movies are good. I was very sceptical of Clerks, my exact words when I saw it was in black and white were "Oh god, is this going to be some arty farty shit?". He's not my favourite or the best director/writer/whatever but I enjoy his movies.

Probably none of them. If I like a movie from my childhood, it's because I think it was well written or well made. I don't want to risk them remaking it with a shitty story and "flash bang" graphics.

Do aliens (as in ET) exist?
There was a good comic that pretty much said that aliens did exist and the government put them in movies such as ET so when people see them, the public think they're either crazy or drunk.

A question about Australia. Is it a real place, or are you all just playing some kind of crazy prank on the rest of us? Because I hear you have giant, bird-eating spiders and animals with pockets, and it just seems too unbelievable to be true.
Australia is a wonderful, magical country made by our league of Awesome Australian Oddities (the AAO). Some of us pray to them in different ways but we all come together every year for Australia Day (shortened from the Awesome Australian Oddities celebration 24-hour a-thon) and have a BBQ or two.
And in the same vein as my last question, is Africa a real place too? Because I hear it has animals with giant necks and other animals with giant ears and noses like tentacles, and little flies that lay eggs in your brain. Seems made up, like Australia.
Africa is totally made up. It's just a story people tell so Americans and stuff feel guilty.

I don't usually pay attention to movie dates. And I don't generally remember many movies I watch. So I'll play it safe and say The Incredible Shrinking Man. Though I think The Omega Man is probably 70's or something.

What is your least favorite Doctor Who story that you've seen?
Probably the one in the new series where they left Rose in the parallel Universe. I didn't have a problem with them killing her off, I just disliked the whole "romantic Doctor" thing. From that time onwards, every companion but Donna has been in love with the Doctor in one way or another. Rose started the trend and her leaving like that pretty much tore the Doctor apart. The fact that he couldn't find the woman he loved again, etc. As well as the fact that they completely changed the Doctor and how his companions felt about him, a good way to put it being that the companions think of him more as a foreigner rather than an alien, it also developed a new generation of fan girls. I watched that episode with my sister. She cried. Over a fiction character. She then went and wrote really bad romantic fan fiction about them both. Those are the kind of fans I do not like and it feels like Davies just did it to evoke that.
What is the most fun you have had recently? and why is it the most fun?
This is really hard to answer because I have such a terrible memory. I'd probably say the other week when I was hanging out with friends.
However, hopefully that'll be topped this Sunday when I get to hang out with friends and buy my new roller skates! :D
How would you survive the zombie apocolypse?
I would do it like Robert Neville (I think that was his name) does in 'I Am Legend'. The book, not the Wil Smith movie. I'd secure my house really well, board up the windows and such, keep guns everywhere and pretty much hide in it during night-time. Then I'd spend the day-time gathering food and resources. It's a fairly good plan, one of the best I've seen.
At the point you're at in your life now, would you be able to keep a disabled child?
No. I know how hard it is and I don't think I could handle it. Emotionally, mentally or financially. If I had to, I would but I wouldn't be volunteering myself.

Friday night. I was buying pizza at my favourite local pizza store and this homeless guy was trying to buy himself some dinner. He wanted some bread to go with it but he didn't have enough. He went next door to the Subway and started asking people. I felt bad that I had pizza and my groceries and he was just trying to get a meal so I ran back and handed him $5, the only change I had on me at the time. He said thank you and I rushed off to catch up to my friend and catch the traffic lights.

What was your favorite part of Elementary school as a kid (or Primary school, or whatever it's called there in Australia)?
Playing video games and CCG's with the boys. We mainly played Pokemon but it was very fun.

I really liked the Raston Warrior Robot from The Five Doctors. I suppose it would be hard for them to feature him more this time around since they're pretty much indestructible but I thought it was an interesting villain.

I haven't really disliked the jobs I've had. So, I'd say school since I had to do a lot of work and put up with a lot of social bullshit but I didn't actually get paid for it. If you don't count that then I'll say chores. Stuff like cleaning the toilet, the cat's toilet, gross stuff like that.

Well, a lot of them are Escapists but some of them are just what's on my suggestion list. Makes Twitter more fun, having a status update every minute or so. What is your favourite childhood memory?
Once, myself, my mum and my sister were going to see some play. I think it was The Magic Faraway Tree. The Wiggles were also playing but we didn't have tickets for that. So my mum talked to the ticket person and bought the manager's tickets and surprised me with them. That's my favourite memory. It was really nice.
What album do you own that most people would not expect?
I'm not really sure so I'll say the last album someone was surprised I owned. "Dreaming of Revenge" by Kaki King. I think it was because she's a pretty unknown artist but clearly they forgot I'm an indie girl at heart :P

I don't have a problem with religion, I have a problem with people trying to push it onto someone else. And when they act like assholes in the name of religion. But yeah, I believe anyone can believe whatever they like and I have a right to debate the issues. It's how they go about it which bothers me.
And yes, political beliefs are often easier to debate. And safer, religious people are often pretty passionate about it and find it hard to debate it well.

Fair enough. The mod's problem with her is that she didn't argue her point, she insulted those who disagreed with her. She's getting angry because of my avatar. My avatar was a joke about how silly the whole situation is, no a direct message to her or anything. She saw it and got pissed off. Are you an Escapist? Demented Teddy was banned and almost everyone is pissed off about it and are saying the mods are idiots and such. Some of them have taken up using her avatar and will apparently do so every year on the anniversary of her being banned. Following this, I posted a thread on her follower's new forum defending the mods and saying what I believed. Outside and Doctragon is a combination of 'Doctor Who' and 'Dragon'. I adopted it after being frustrated that my usrename before this was always taken and I wasn't too fond of it anymore. Not sure what'll happen if this name ever gets used a lot. :/

What is the most dangerous thing you have ever done?
Playing with fire as much as I used to. I was a pyromaniac when I was younger. I still think fire is purdy.
Your ideal job?
Professional writer. Not for a newspaper or anything, just so I was paid for pieces I'd write. Wouldn't have to be that much, I'd just love doing it.

Chilling, listening to music and playing video games. It's a calming activity for me, most of the time.

Human character I'd be Misty because she was (and still is) the only awesome main female character in the series.
Pokemon character I'd be Dragonite because they're awesome. Super powerful, able to fly but really nice.

Uh this is a really hard one. :( Half Life was great but Duke Nukem (the original) got me into gaming... I'll say Half Life but it was a hard choice
What video game world would you love to live in?
Easily, Pokemon. Once I said to a friend "I wish Pokemon was real" they called me a nerd and laughed. :(
But! If pokemon WERE real, think about it, you'd have lifelong companionship, tons of money and sometimes fame, you'd have protection, fun and you wouldn't need an education past 10 years old!

What is one thing you really want to do in the next twelve months?
I want to finish a comic book I'm writing. I have an artist lined up but we haven't started working on it yet. Hopefully by next year we'll have a semi-regular web comic going.
Of the people you've known IRL, who has made the biggest impact on your life?
Overall, I'd say my mum since she's raised me pretty much single handed. Though there have been a few ex-friends and such that have affected me too but in a different way.

"I Am" by "Texas in July" review
'Texas In July' is a metalcore band from Pennsylvania. They are one of the youngest bands in the local scene with the band member's ages ranging from 16-18. 'I Am' is their much-anticipated full length album, released in July, 2009.
'I Am' is a loud, deep and heavy album. The songs are fast-paced and the drums really shine throughout the album. Of course, with most metal-core bands, the vocals are little more than growling but the lyrics can be very strong and powerful. Such as “I am the fire, the wind, and the sea,” in Elements. The band shouting the lyrics in 'Elements' is also something to look out for. The growling and strong lyrics add to the heaviness of the band. The drummer is really the highlight of this album, his drumming really emphasizes what the vocalist is saying and the beat goes well with the songs.
The guitarists on the other hand are less impressive. The bass you can barely hear at all and the guitar playing, while good, does not surpass the playing of the drummer. However, during the last 30 seconds or so of 'Father Time' you do get to hear the guitar and with just the drums accompanying it, the guitarists really show their stuff.
The first half of the album really seems to flow. This is a good thing and a bad thing. The good thing is that the songs really set the mood that the band is trying to impose. The bad thing is that the songs all sound somewhat the same. Some tracks just sound like one long song.
“I Am Yours” is an interesting song. Sitting half-way through the album, it certainly catches you by surprise. An acoustic instrumental, something you don't usually expect from a metal-core band, the pace is slow and the music is very pretty. Again, this is both a good and a bad thing. Tucked away between the metal songs, this calmer, quieter song is a nice little treat. But to more metal fans, they might view this as boring and too slow. “I Am Yours” certainly takes away the anger that you felt from the previous songs but as soon as it's over, it all comes flooding back. However, this is one of the points where the guitarists really shine. They are playing something out of their normal genre and they are doing a good job of it.
For a band with such young members, this album has shown a lot of promise and it will hopefully get even better as they age.
